Community Garden 2025
This year, the people of the Good Shepherd and the community are continuing the garden. If you've been by the garden beds lately, you've probably noticed that they are in need of some major repair.

We were fortunate enough to receive a grant from the Interreligious Eco-Justice Network (IREJN) [www.irejn.org]. With this grant, we have received new garden frames and are in the process of getting them put together and put in place. Hopefully, we will have the new beds ready just in time to plant the cold weather plants in April.

How Our Community Garden Works
- The garden is open to everyone. Anyone can plant, weed, water, or pick the produce.

If you have 10-15 minutes, check in on the plants and see if they need a some watering - maybe pull a few weeds.
* When weeding, we have two
compost areas - one in each of the
two garden areas. These should be
used for weeds/greens. Branches,
rocks, etc. should not be put in the
compost bins.

- There is no plot rental. If you plant in our garden, there can be no expectation that the produce is yours alone.
