STEWARDSHIP

Bet when you hear that word the first thing that comes to mind is money. Christian stewardship is more than dollars and cents – Christian stewardship is using good sense to manage our lives as individuals, families, and communities. At Church of the Good Shepherd donations of Time, Talent, and Money are equally important building blocks giving a strong foundation to do the work Christ calls us to do in Shelton and around the world.

TIME

The most precious gift of all that we can give is our time. Time is your only true resource, and where you give your time speaks to what is really important in your life. MONEY

Money plays a very important role in life. The stewardship of money says quite a bit about who I am as a person: I may be stingy, I may actually give too much, or I may give in a healthy way. YOUR PARTICIPATION MAKES US STRONGER - AND YOU TOO!

Individuals often feel like there isn't much "I" can do to change the world. When we join together in community the "I" becomes "we". WE can make a difference in our community by the strength of the bonds we share as Church. In the pooling of our resources, our time, talent, and money, and guiding those resources through thoughtful and prayerful stewardship God will empower us to do amazing things within our Church and with our neighbors.
