Massaro Farms Community Garden 2023
In 2021, we partnered with Massaro Farms to continue the Community Garden.
This year, we're continuing the garden. In April, the first cold-weather vegetables were planted. With the help of the Good Shepherd parishioners, we got the rest of the beds weeded and planted this June as the weather warmed up. Thank you to everyone who helped get the gardens in shape for this growing season!

We received several plant donations from the community of strawberries, tomato, cucumber, watermelon, sweet potato, carrots, basil, and mustard plants. In addition, Wells Hollow Farms (656 Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton) also made a great donation of watermelon, peppers, eggplant, herbs, and onions.

We've got a great selection! Hopefully, the growing season will be a good one
for our garden!
